Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is known as a well-known American writer of cook books for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina started her career writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. She then bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. It took her 18 years to make the shop wildly successful, before she decided to sell it. Then she began writing the first of many cookbooks. Then, a number of cookbooks were published and she also wrote columns for magazines. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Also, Ina sells products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual way of creating and entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
