Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. Then, in 1956 she got her first big break in the stage on Broadway along with Li'l abner. That same year, she released Her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Big Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
