Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on the 19th December of 1986. She was born in Canada, and she worked as an actress on film for several years. She is mainly known for portraying the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek ran from 2015 until in 2020. She got critically acclaimed by critics and viewers alike. Her performance was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in the province of Ontario in Canada. Her parents used to work as teachers. Elmwood School was her first preference in Ottawa and where she took part in various stage shows. After graduating of Concordia University with a theatre degree, she enrolled in the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's Institute. Then she attended classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about acting. At the age 22, she relocated from Canada to Los Angeles where acting became her main occupation. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television crime thriller Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act and performed small and extra roles in several movies. Many of them are well-known like Story of Jen which was first released in 2008. Lick which was released in 2010, and another top-rated film A Windigo Tale which was released in the same year. She also appeared in Canadian TV series like Good God, which aired in 2012 as well as Rookie Blue in the same. Her capacity to handle several projects is an impressive feat. Annie was a struggle to make a name for herself in the beginning of her career as an actor. Apart from her stellar performance, she was considered by many to be the leading star of the entertainment and movie industries. She also starred in many American TV shows such as The Beautiful Life TBL in 2009 Blue Mountain State in 2010 Beaut & The Beast in 2012, and other shows that are worth to watch. The actress has built a prolific career by working on various acting gigs.She is an amazing actor who has won the hearts of a multitude. Annie Murphy has won many awards and is a multi-award nominated actress.
