Angela Sargsyan grew up in Yerevan in Armenia. Her birthplace was there on December 16, 1982. Angela, who was born in 1982, had a passion to play sports since an early age. As a child she was swimming, and skating when she was three years old. She continued to figure skate until age 13. Angela began karate after she had mastered figure skating.
